NRWB Launches RRA Initiatives

RRA 1Northern Region Water Board (NRWB) has launched the Rapid Results Approach (RRA) initiative in a bid to recover MK800 million individual and private sector customers owe the Board and also improve institutional performance.
Launching the initiative, Chief Executive Officer for the Board, Titus Mtegha explained that the RRA is a system of registering tangible results in key result areas by breaking down long term targets into 100 day milestones.
“Under RRA, we want to see how we can make gains and do things differently so that we achieve results. We have set ourselves 100 days to achieve the results of reducing debtors from the current MK800 million which translates to almost 65 days and reduce it to 45 days,” he said.
Mtegha emphasized that the RRA will improve service delivery through improved liquidity to finance operations of the Board.
In his remarks, Chairperson of the Board Rev Howard Matiya Nkhoma urged all employees to engage an extra gear for the initiative to bear results.
