Dear Valued Customer, we are not pumping since 06:00 hours this morning due to the loss of power supply. We are currently supplying through our reservoirs. In the next few hours if power is not restored, pressures will run low and areas will begin to experience little or now water supply at all. Mzuzu Shoprite Paypoint now open

To all our valued customers in Mzuzu, please take note that we have opened a new pay point where you can pay for your water bills at the Mzuzu Shoprite Mall, next to PEP Shop. Pay Your Water Bills at the new Shoprite Pay Point!

Introducing Customer Service Charter

We are a parastatal organisation, wholly owned by the Government of Malawi under the Water Works Act (No 17 of 1995). Our mandate is to supply potable water to urban and peri urban areas of the Northern Region which include Mzuzu, Nkhatabay, Mzimba, Karonga, Rumphi, Chitipa, Chilumba, Songwe, Chintheche and Ekwendeni. Our customers consist of individual households, institutions, commercial entities and communal water points. In line with the Public Service Reforms and our desire to serve our customers better, we have developed a Customer Service Charter presented in the image below. Like most businesses, we know that our success lies in delivering excellent service to you, our customer. Our Customer Service Charter sets out our commitment to provide you, our customer, with the service you can expect – potable water and good customer service as we move from basics to excellence

Water Supply Interruption and Maintenance Works

We would like to inform our valued customers in Mchengautuba, Area 4, SOS, Kawiluwilu, Hilltop, part of Masasa, Kaboko(Area2) and Admarc that they will have no water on Sunday 31 January 2016 as the Board will be carrying out scheduled maintenance works. We will be carrying out upgrading works on the line to Lusangazi Tank to improve supply in the areas. The works will start from 06:00 am to 06:00 pm. Supply will be restored thereafter. We therefore wish to request our customers to conserve enough water for use on this day. We sincerely apologise for the incovenience this situation will cause. Management

Opening of Luwinga Paypoint and Office

Good News to ALL our Valued Customers in Luwinga, Lupaso, Area 1B, Nkhorongo and surrounding areas! Your new Office Complex will be opening doors for service this Monday 11th January, 2016. The office is across PUMA Filling Station just before Mzuzu University on the Mzuzu – Karonga M1 Road. Some of the services offered include: Pay Point …( for bill payments) Customer Service Desk…(for bill and any other enquiries, faults reporting, new water connections and reconnections) We thank you for your patience as you waited for the opening of your service centre.

Water Supply Interruption: Luwinga, Area 1B and Nkhorongo

To all valued customers in Luwinga, Area 1B and Nkhorongo in Mzuzu, take note that we have a breakdown on the main pumping line from Katawa Booster Station to Nkhorongo Reservoir. The breakdown is near the Petroda Filling Station. Presently, water supply to St Augustine and Area 1B has been affected as a result of the breakdown. We have currently mobilised to work on the breakdown and we will keep you updated on the progress of the works. Management.
