In line with our community engagement strategy and giving back to the community we serve, we are constantly investing in social programs that add value to our communities.

corporate social responsibility was of prime focus in the year with the belief that the way the Board conducts its operations dictates the footprint it leaves behind.
As such the Board continued to assist Government address issues of sustainable development by:

The Board completed building the Dunduzu Police Unit at a total cost of MK3 million. The Board further made cash do-nations to churches and charity organizations in the region.

Recently the Board has Constructed a school block at Rumphi secondary school with four class rooms catering 160 students. The block has eased learning challenge for students at one of the Region’s oldest secondary school.
